BERMAGUI, MUMBULLA, TANJA  & MURRAH LOGGING COMPARTMENT MAP

NSW Environment Minister Robyn Parker said on 27th October 2011 that logging is good for koalas. The reality is the opposite: logging now threatens the last koala population on the far south coast and must be stopped for the sake of this much loved animal. Tell Minister Parker that logging of koala habitat forest must stop if this much loved  animal is to survive on the far south coast of NSW. more

Koala habitat on MUMBULLA Mountain,  Murrah & Tanja forests was suspended after the NSW state election in March 2011. Congratulations to all the blockaders who made this possible!
But loggers moved into Bermagui forest on 21st June 2011 and is threatened in Tanja
.
